Smith last played in the NFL in 2010 with the 49ers. He started six games that season and completed 50.3 percent of his passes for 1,176 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions. Over four NFL seasons with the Ravens (2007-09) and 49ers, Smith completed 51.7 percent of his passes for 1,734 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
