Madden NFL used to be a regular face on Nintendo platforms but we'ven't seen it for more than 10 years after Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA is still offering annual updates for FIFA (even if they are "legacy editions"), EA previously said they didn't plan to launch it on Switch at the time of 2018. However, a new job description suggested Madden might be finally coming to Switch.
The information comes from YouTuber Doctre81 who found the listing "Online Software Engineer (C++) (C+) -- Madden" with a date range of to November 2020. One section of the job's requirements require two years of experience with "Microsoft or Sony game consoles". It may not sound too impressive but in the past, EA job descriptions haven't mentioned Nintendo within their selection criteria.
At the very least, EA could be investigating a potential release. It is worth noting that EA has previously stated that it would release seven Switch games over the 12-month period in June 2020. June 2022 is just few months away, but we've had six games confirmed since then including Apex Legends this week.
It's left one more to go. However, considering the annual release schedule of Madden, EA could potentially be waiting for the inevitable Madden NFL 22 - as instead of an Madden NFL 22 port - as they generally start in August. Let's hope it's not another old edition. If you want to know more about can go mmoexp.com/Nfl-22/Coins.html
