Ten of the 47 players invited to Calgary to start preparations for the 2014 Winter Olympics won gold at the 2005 world junior hockey championships in Grand Forks, N.D. Seven of the 2005 alumni are already Olympic gold medallists having played for their country in the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
